This whimsical, one-of-a-kind “Jewelry Art” piece was inspired by the artisan’s passion for flowers & nature. The predominant color palette of this piece is various shades of turquoise & aqua with smaller accents of sage green, celery green, & soft pink for contrast. Due to the popularity of turquoise & aqua interior designs featured in recent interior design magazines, these particular pieces of jewelry were purposely chosen to reflect the current trends. This particular art piece uses mixed media (counted cross stitch, crewel work, acrylic painting, applique, sewing, & special glue) to achieve the color and spatial balance within this still-life work of art.
